Assembling every United States issue from 1659 to 2020 is impossible for almost anyone: the coins are scarce, scattered and expensive. This guide gives you the next best thing you can actually hold. You print it, put it in a three-ring binder, and every series, date and mintmark sits on your shelf as a physical volume you can open, study, annotate and add to. It is a reference book you build yourself — not a file that stays buried in a downloads folder.

Title page, editorial note, printing and binding note, a master chronology 1792–1986 with thirteen milestones (Coinage Act, Civil War, 1873, 1933, 1965, the bullion era) and the full table of contents.
Every series
An original synopsis, a design note for obverse and reverse, a specifications panel (designer, metal, weight, diameter, edge), a Key Dates and Rarities block — 554 key dates across the book — a Collector's Note on wear points, counterfeits and grading, a photographic plate grid, and the complete issue table grouped by decade and variety with date, mintmark and variety.
Appendices
The mints (P, D, S, O, CC, W) with years of operation, composition by era, a numismatic glossary of about sixty terms, and an alphabetical index of series with page numbers.
Chapter structure
Each chapter opens with a full-page engraved-plate divider, a 130–170 word historical essay and a one-line epigraph. Each denomination section carries a statistics band (series, issues, year span, metals, mints) and a vector chronology chart showing every series as a dated bar.
Format
A4 with symmetric 24 mm margins, white ground for ink economy, Source Serif 4 and Playfair Display typography, continuous pagination, running headers, three-hole punched layout. The page flow was checked page by page: no clipped text, no orphaned remnants; the only blank pages are the intentional versos before chapter openers.

Is it a grading guide?
Not a substitute for one. Each series carries a Collector's Note on wear points, common counterfeits and what graders look at, but the book does not reproduce grading standards or grade-by-grade photographs.
